Trivandrum Tour

Introduction about Trivandrum
Verkala BeachBefore you enter the God's own country Kerala, Trivandrum is the gateway that welcomes you to it. Trivandrum has access to both the Arabian sea as well as the enchanting backwaters. The place was a capital of a princely state first and still retains the glory of yesteryears. It is built over seven hills with plenty of open spaces between them.

The tourists are offered a great deal more besides a magnificent temple of the deity Sree Anantha Padmanabhaswami. There are backwaters reaching deep into the vast countryside of the place. The terrain of Trivandrum is undulating and is situated on the southern coast of the mainland of India. The city was once a part of the kingdom of Travancore and still retains the laid back style of yore. As a tourist, you are expected to explore deep into the countryside of Kerala and Trivandrum serves as an ideal base for that.
